Jaime E. Gomez
Jaime Enrique Gómez is a partner at Posse Herrera Ruiz. His professional practice focuses on the development of tax planning and asset protection strategies for high-net worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families.
Jaime has ample experience advising clients with complex cross-jurisdictional business structures, dual or multiple nationalities or tax residences, and assets in different countries. Estate and inheritance planning are also part of his expertise.
He has participated in the definition and implementation of local and international reorganization structures, aiming to mitigate risks associated to the holding of family assets, prevent controversies among family members and optimize their tax burden.
Jaime is a lawyer from the Universidad del Rosario. He has conducted post graduate studies on Tax Law and Customs Law and Foreign Trade from the same University. Additionally, he has a Master’s in Taxation (LL.M) from Georgetown University.
