Gloria is responsible for building investment and trust relationships with individuals, families and foundations and has over 25 years' experience in private wealth management. Before joining Fiduciary Trust, Gloria served as First Vice President within Merrill Lynch's Private Banking and Investment Group, a division dedicated to ultra-high-net-worth clients. Most of her previous career was spent at JPMorgan Chase & Company, rotating through different divisions of the firm, culminating in the Private Bank where she focused on high and ultra-high net worth individuals and families. Gloria earned Bachelor of Art degrees in Economics and in Romance Languages from New York University. Gloria is a former member of the Colombian American Association's Board of Directors, the former Alexander Hamilton Committee of the City Museum of New York and until recently served on the board of the Tata Harper Skincare Company. She currently serves as a Council Member for the New York Audubon Society's Women in Conservation and as a Patron Chair since 2014 of its prestigious Rachel Carson Award. Gloria has been part of the advisory Council for Friends of El Museo del Barrio of New York. Gloria is fluent in Spanish, as well as French, Italian, and Portuguese.
